On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Police Athletic League of Manatee County, I recommend the service of Karen Dove Consulting. Over the 22 months, from August 2009 to June 2011, Mrs..Dove provided services as Resource Development Officer to the Manatee PAL organization. Some of her duties were to seek funding opportunities and write grants, implement donor tracking software and update donor records, create an annual campaign, serve on the planning committee for the PAL golf tournament, prepare a quarterly newsletter, event photography, and facilitate Board development training.
Karen Dove has been a asset to the Police Athletic League of Manatee County in many ways. She guided a new and developing Board of Directors to be more active and understand their role within the organization and helped PAL increase fund raised significantly. She is always pleasant and professional in her communications with the Board, staff and donors and will work extra hours to get the complicated and time consuming tasks to completion.
