She also occasionally offers training in grant writing.
Karen is tremendously effective in composing an application to grow or sustain your organization, or to develop effective new programs and projects to reach your clients. She has written over $8.5 million in funded grants during her career. Her largest grant ($1 million which became $2 million over the course of the project) funded a program which she conceived and developed. This program won a National Merit Award from Boys & Girls Clubs of America, for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County.
For the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Karen submitted an approved $280,000 Cultural Facilities Grant to the State of Florida's Division of Cultural Affairs.
